I'm a Little Bit Country! My Trip to Tennessee

I was looking back on my pics from my trip to Tennessee and I thought  I would share some with you! The first are from Nashville, where I went to the Country Hall of Fame, The Ryman and obviously hit the bars downtown! What a main street that is!

Johnny Cash is my hero, so to go to the Johnny Cash museum was a dream come true!

Anyone Recognise this outfit?!

Then I went to Memphis for the day...

A little walk down Beale Street

Can't head to Memphis without stopping by to see the King.

As I was there alone, I had to take a lil selfie in Elvis' plane, the Lisa Marie!

My dreams really did come true when I stepped inside the home of the million dollar quartet.
This is really the sole reason for my TN visit. I have been obsessed with this place since I was 12. To be in the place where such magic happened.

Just lil old me and the mic all those legends used to record their songs!

If you have EVER considered heading to Tennessee, I completely recommend it.
I have been to a lot of cities in my 23 years and I can honestly say Tennessee has something special. The people are so kind and helpful, along with the beer and the live music. It is somewhere that has stolen my heart.
This obviously isn't an in depth post of where I visited so if you have any questions or looking to go yourself and just want to know a little more, feel free to hit me up!
Until next time!

Make Up Wish List!

Isn't it always the way that when you are the most skint, you fall in love with every damn product out there. That is definitely the way with me, so I thought I'd share what I have been lusting after with you guys!

Lets start with Beauty Bay:

Cover FX. Custom Enhancer Drops in Celestial.

We all can admit we know what these babies can do if you are a blog/youtube lover. The shine of this could have you looking like the tin man if you put loads on but with just the right amount, they look stunning. A real beautiful highlight. I feel like Celestial is the shade that would suit me best.

Coloured Raine Eyeshadow in Blue Magic

Well this is purely because this is the most gorgeous cobalt blue glitter shadow I have ever seen and I'm all about that life.

Coloured Raine Matte Lippaint in Galaxy
Tell me this isn't so bomb! I love trying shades and such that you wouldn't normally go for so this is right up my street. Think it would be perfect on a night out!

Zoeva Complete Brush Set

I think this really speaks for itself! I have loads of brushes from similar type brands and I always end up going back to the limited Zoeva ones I have. I am obsessed with them, I would say they are the best I've ever used. So one day I need to bite the bullet and get this bought!

Zoeva Cool Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette

That middle row is screaming my name! I love Zoeva palettes. They are such good value for money and the quality is amazing. This only £28.50 for 15 shadows! The only reason I haven't bought this beauty is due to the fact I have so many palette I don't use. So once I get some wear from them. This will be mines!

Now let's have a look at some stuff from Cult Beauty

  • Limited Edition Shimmering Skin Perfector - Champagne Pop

Not afraid to admit it here, I am a Becca FREAK. Especially when it comes to there highlights. I got my first 'Opal' highlight on a trip to the states in I think either late 2014 or 2015 and I have been OBSESSED every since. No one can make me glow quite like it. I already have a Champagne Pop which has hit pan. So why not renew it with this beautiful limited edition one!? Cos' lets face it, we are all suckers for pretty packaging here!

  • Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Opal

Speak of the Devil and all that! Opal is my original love and I haven't had one since my niece dropped my other in November 2016. I would love to try this 'poured' formula, it is always good to try new things right? It is a creme instead of the usual powder and I just know it would look beaut.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Medusa

How would one even go about descriping this shade? A mauvey/grey? Either way I LOVE this. Plus the Huda Beauty Liquid Mattes are amazing.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in 'Kidman's Kiss'

Confession - I have never used a Charlotte Tilbury product. DUN DUN DUNNNNN. But I love the look of the Hot Lips that have been out for a while. I think Kidman's Kiss looks like the most beautiful pinky nude.

I know it is all for two websites but they are really the only place I would shop for beauty online. Do you have any of these products? Do you love them or should I stay away?
I'd love it if you could advise on what I really need!

Book Club - Blog Style. Take 6!

Hi Guys. Back when we first started this blog, I loved doing book reviews as I love reading and discussing books with people. I've not done a post like this though since 2015! Which seems crazy to me as in 2017 so far, I have read 52 books. Gotta love when the family stock you up with Amazon gift cards at Christmas! Truthfully I normally just buy books for 99p that are for my kindle.

One of the ones I bought recently was 'The Perfect Marriage' by Debbie Viggiano. I had never read anything by Viggiano before and since finishing this book, I bought three more from her and I am obsessed! They make me laugh and cry all within a few chapters. If you are looking for a new author, I seriously recommend.

The story is about Rosie Perfect, she is stuck in a loveless marriage to Dave Perfect and though she would love to leave him, she shares with him their 8 month old son. However after best friend Lucy's hen night, Rosie wakes up in bed the morning after with the delicious Matt Palmer. After giving Rosie lift home and not been able to enter the family home as Dave has crashed out drunk, Matt breaks the door window for them to enter and due to this, Matt ends up going over to see Rosie a couple of times and they become friends.

When Rosie's live ends up in pieces, Matt is always there to help and when she is finally free from Dave, they wonder if there is a chance they could be more than friends, however with everything Rosie goes through, Matt doesn't want to push anything on her.

I don't want to give away spoilers but it truly is a wonderful story in which every character has their own dramas and laughs along the way which all tie together beautifully. Their is a gilted groom, dog food tasting, gambling debts, a loan shark and a strangely hilarious funeral. (and a mother you'd love to hate).

Just to see Rosie escape a loveless marriage would have been a happy ending for me anyway. I hate hearing about people stuck in loveless relationship because they have children. I know they need to put your kids first but I hate the thought of kids growing up not seeing what a loving and healthy relationship is like!

Like I said, this was the first Debbie Viggiano book I had read and I am now on my fourth with the intention of buying more! I am obsessed with the way she can take you on a roller-coaster of emotions! I'd give 'The Perfect Marriage' a 5/5!

I'm so glad to be back blogging about my beloved books! Have you guys read this book?
Or anything else buy Debbie Viggiano?

KKW x Kylie Cosmetics - Kim Review

There is no denying when it comes to Kylie Cosmetics, I am definitely a brand ho. When a new collection drops that I love, I legit set an alarm so I can get it. So sad right? Those Kardashian/Jenner sisters rule the world whether we want to admit it or not. Everyone has there own opinions on them and the Kylie Cosmetics products but I personally love them. Kim and Kylie are probably the most talked about and well known - for example they are the only ones my gran knows. When I heard they were launching this collab with all nudes, I knew I had to have it as nudes are my go to lippy.

Can I just say that I am DYING over the packaging! I love how matte it is and how it has kept in with the nude theme. Also as always there is a note with it with Keeks saying there is surprise coming soon which has everyone going nuts wondering what it could be!

The set comes in at $45 which works out $11.25 per lipstick which is amazing value as they are full sized.

The one I will be reviewing today is Kim!

Kim is described as a coral nude but on me it is more on the coral/pink wave and maybe isn't what I would personally class as 'nude' but it still is a beautiful shade, especially for summer.

Now, I am the pastiest girl you could find and I did need a few layers to get this colour pay off. It is really a beautiful colour though.

Let's talk about this 'Creme' formula. There has been A LOT of discussion on this new Kylie formula and since this was released, there has been no new Creme liquid lipsticks or any talk of them so far. It truly isn't the best formula - I probably wouldn't buy another Creme Kylie lipstick again. It takes a few layers to get the actual colour pay off which is really my biggest vice with these as - if you are like myself - you don't want to have to put mega layers on to make it an even coverage. You want to apply and be good to go. Now, at no point did these lipsticks every say they were long lasting and they aren't. They probably last about two hours if you are doing nothing and will come off, pretty much fully when eating or drinking but as they don't claim to be long lasting, this doesn't really bother me.

Overall, if these came in another formula - I'd go for the velvet, these would be the most beautiful lipsticks. But I guess its all about what seeing works in a company. Anyway - Kylie is bringing out both a matte and velvet nudes set in her summer collection - so stoked for that! The KKW x Kylie collection, in my opinion are beautiful shades and great value for money. They are comfortable to wear but as my pasty ass takes loads of layers, I'm not sure how they would work on darker skin tones.

That's it guys, my thoughts on the KKW x Kylie Cosmetics liquid Creme lipstick in Kim.
Do you guys have this and have the same thoughts? I'm thinking of doing my Kylie Cosmetics collection post so keep an eye out for that if you are a Kylie fan!

The British Tag!

Hi Guys! I was checking out some blogs I haven't been on before and found Harry's Sisters blog which is relatively new and has some great content! Including this tag which was around a little while ago. Its a fab one to do so that is why I stole it! If you  want to see the girls take on it here.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?

It reaaaally depends what mood I'm in. Sometimes I can go through stages were I can drink multiple a day and then go months without any. If I'm at afternoon tea I will have like 5 in the one sitting. I'll either have 2 sugars or none.

2. Favourite part of your roast?
Yorkshire Puds FOR SURE. There is nothing better than a yorkshire pud. I've even had them with ketchup I love them that much.

3. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
Probs Afternoon Tea, I love all the range of sandwiches and cakes! I also love that everytime the sun is out that everyone gets on the bev! Especially in Glasgow!

4. Favourite word?
I actually like a lot of words. I love that Gnome is spelt like that. What is the point in silent letters?

5. Favourite sweet?

I love those White Jazzie sweets. Or Haribo tangtastics. I'm not a huge sweetie person though, I'd rather scran a full bag of popcorn!

6. What would your pub be called?

The Stew Pie - my last name is Stewart

7. No 1 British person?

It has to be Ant & Dec. I loooove them so much. I hope they show up at my wedding.

8. Favourite shop / Restaurant?

I don't actually think I have a favourite shop. I don't have any where that I am obsessed with. My favourite restaurant is a little place in Dunoon called La Cantina where I have been going since I was like 8.

9. What British song pops into your head?

Oasis - Wonderwall. Because every drunk Brit turns into a Gallagher!

10. Marmite?

GET THIS TO F***!!! SO VILE! I had never had it and Sam eats it all the time so I thought I would try. I regret this immensely. Never tasted anything so rank.

So that is my take on the British Tag! So chuffed I seen it again on the girls blog.
Are any of our answers the same! Let us know!

Wedding Talk - Signature Cocktail

Hi guys! As I am getting married next summer, constantly being on pinterest and wedding blogs has became quite a thing. One thing I've seen a lot is signature cocktails, most wedding venues will have a welcome or arrival drink and an even better way to make it more personal way to you and your other half is to have your signature cocktail as a free drink for your guest - this can just be your favourite drink or cocktail.

Image result for wedding signature cocktail

This is just an example, so if you like a mix of things that don't have a name, you can name it like the above and go for the mr and mrs or name it after yourself or your newly shared surname which I think is a great way to add more a more personal touch to your day.

Sam & I have picked mines and they are quite plain but mines is the good old:
French Martini
3 shots : Vodka
2 shots : Chambord
6 shots : Pineapple Juice
Loads of ice and blend!

Sam's is a oldie but a goodie also:
Lime Frozen Margarita

 1/2 cups gold tequila
3/4 cup Triple Sec
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
4 tablespoons sugar
 loads of crushed ice
Then obviously you can dress with salt if that is what you go for!

I've also seen really cute ones with wedding names such as
The Happy Couple
Pineapple Juice

The Blushing Bride
Peach Schnapps
Orange Juice
Cranberry Juice

The Dashing Groom
Bacardi Rum

Marry Me Mojito
Club Soda

These are obviously just a few ideas but I think it is a really cute way to mix up something that is normally quite regular, for example, you normally only get champagne so why not do something that people aren't expecting?

Have any of you done this or thought about doing it?
What drinks did you guys use?

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlights Review

If you are from the UK you will have FOR SURE, heard of Make Up Revolution. It is pretty well known for basically just duping other brands. I mean have you seen the chocolate palettes! Which I guess for the brands involved, can be very annoying but I think it is actually funny and fair play to them for managing to get around all the copy rights! But the product I am going to review isn't a specific a dupe (I think!) and just own of their own products.

It is the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlight in the shade Radiant Light.

I picked this up on a trip to Superdrug as I am a highlighter junkie and thought that for £3 that even if it wasn't the best, I could use it as a inner corner eye highlight as that is easy to build up. It is a pink/rose champagne colour and is the type of highlight colour I adore.

I first swatched it on my hand like the basic bitch I am and I wasn't overly buzzed but still pleasantly surprised. This was probably about two layers, swatched with a clean finger. It does give off a beautiful effect when the light hits it as you can see at the end of the swatch.

Here is what it looked like on! I am really really impressed with what it looks like on! It was about three layers but it definitely does the job. It isn't as blinding as my Becca highlights but there is around a £30 price difference between them so you can't really complain. This is the perfect highlight for people who are looking to get started with highlight or just don't want to spending a lot of money on it. My best friend for example, is the perfect girl for this as she only wears it on a nightout, unlike myself who wears highlight on the daily.

It doesn't last ages but probably about 3/4 hours which is total reasonable. Would definitely recommend this and I feel like the pan will last me months.

I would love to try some more Make Up Revolution products if they work this well!
Are there any you love?
