Fave Lipsticks.

One thing my mum can always be found doing right before we leave the house, is applying some lippy. Lately I've been the same! I never used to wear lipstick at all, I'd throw on the odd lip balm with a tint on, every now and again. But now I find myself applying it almost daily!

So what would be more fitting, than a post on my favourite lipsticks!
I had planned on doing pics of each one on my lips, but the pictures were not cute at all so I'll save you all from seeing them. I just swatched them on my arm, so you can see the colours and finishes of them!

So these are my current favourites, and I always find myself perusing all the lipsticks in the make up aisle so will no doubt have more to add to my collection soon enough. I feel like I need more red lippies in my life! I really want to check out Loreal's Pure Red collection! Blake's Red is calling my name, and for £6.99 you can't pass that up! I have a slight feeling I will be buying more than one from the collection, using the excuse "oh it's for the blog!" which will totally justify it! Ha.

What is your favourite lipstick?!

The Fashion Tag.

Okay, well I'm just going to put it out there and say it. I have severe bloggers block! I have no clue what to post about lately, so thought doing a tag might inspire me to think of some ideas of what to post next. I have a few post ideas that I want to do, but won't be able to do them for a couple of weeks! So after googling tags that I could do, I stumbled across an old blog post from Anna Saccone and thought that this one was perfect! So lets get on with the tag!

1. How would you describe your style?
I'd say pretty casual mostly, I'm almost always in a pair of black skinnies for work! I'd loooove to be more adventurous with my style. Who knows maybe I'll branch out soon! Ha.

2. What are your wardrobe staples?
As said above, Black skinny jeans! I love slogan tees and ankle boots too!

3. Most expensive item in your closet?
I'd have to say my Jeffrey Campbell studded Lita boots! I haven't worn them nearly enough, hopefully they'll have an outing soon!

4. Most wanted item?
Without a doubt a Chanel 2.55. That's the dream, one of those babies and I'd be the happiest gal in the world!

5. Favourite designer?
I love Chanel, Moschino & Balmain currently!

6. How much do you spend on clothes?
I honestly don't spend that much on clothes. I rarely have time to go shopping, so end up online shopping and spending maybe about £20 on something. Really!

7. What are your favourite places to shop?
Zara. Zara. Zara. It's my absolute favourite and want to buy everything in it!

8. Favourite fragrance?
Vera Wang Lovestruck, is my go to scent. I just love the way it smells, it makes me so happy.

9. What's your favourite way to do your hair?
Confession. I never really do my hair! Eek. I normally just fling it up into a ponytail for work, so that tends to be my everyday hairstyle. But I love getting to wear my hair down and straight. I'd love to be able to curl my barnet but sadly my hair doesn't hold a curl for longer than 20 minutes!

10. What is your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear?
For going out I normally raid my wardrobe for a cute dress and dress it up with heels and a red lip, or if all else fails. A lace top and my trusty black skinnies ( I have too many pairs! A girl needs to have back up pairs! ) and a pair of heels. For day to day I'd grab a pair of jeans and a cute slogan tee and fling on a statement necklace. To at least make it look like I have made an effort!

11. One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay?
I reaaaaaallly hope that Coordinates/two pieces stay about. I am obsessed with them! I only own one from River Island but I have about 10 bookmarked on my computer!

 12. Show us your most prized possession in your wardrobe.
Hmm. My most prized possession in my wardrobe? That's such a toughy! I don't really have a "prized possession."  I'd be lying if I picked something! Sorry!

13. Tag some people.
I tag anyone who reads this and to anyone who has bloggers block like myself! Haha.

Okay, so there ya have it. A quick fashion tag for you!
What is your favourite trend for A/W?!

Estee Lauder Raisins Duo

Hey guys, Gemma here!

So last year when I was going on holiday, I picked up this little beauty in duty free! Now when I came home, September last year, I used this palette every single day for over a month and have used it many times since and it still looks as if it hasn't been touched! I love shadows that last forever. I simply just put the pale champangey colour all over the lid and then blend the plummy colour into my crease and I am ready to go. My eye look always gets compliments when I wear it and it looks as if I have spend ages doing my make up when really applying this takes no longer than 5 minutes! The shadows are so highly pigmented as well!

I have currently started going back to using this every day and ughhh I can't actually talk about it enough. I just love it!

Once again, bad pics but you get it!

At £23 it is slightly pricey but it is cheaper than two MAC shadows and look how much product I still have after a year! (or you could just get it cheaper in duty free like I did ;)) I have probably used this Duo like 100 times and the Estee Lauder logo on the plum colour is still so clear! You can pick this up from all Estee Lauder counters in places such as Boots, Debenhams and House of Frasers.

Do any of you guys have the Raisins Duo?

What do you think of it? Let us know!

A Little Update..

Hey guys, Gemma here!

It has nearly been a full month since I've done my last post and I just wanted to do a little update on what has been happening.

Basically 2 weeks ago I started a course at the Academy of Make-Up in Glasgow. The full pro course. This is a fast track, hands on course to becoming a fully qualified Make-Up Artist. So this is my first post  as a real MUA! So exciting, I can't wait to start with my new career.  Anyhoooo, I would start at half 10 every day, meaning leaving the house at 9 and would finish around 5/5.30 and then most nights I would start work at 6 until 10 and then get home about 11 when I would completely zonk out. Just to do the same all over again!

So now that I am finished my course and back in my normal routine, I will be right back into to blogging! It was so strange not doing it, I actually felt guilty when I got home after work. It was a very weird feeling!

Anyway I am going off on a tangent again!

Until next time guys!
