When In Rome, Do As The Romans Do!

Hey guys, Gemma here! So I have now returned home from my amazing trip to Rome and I thought I would share my trip with all you lovely lovely people.

On our trip we done all the usual tourist points! The Vatican, The Pantheon, Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica, Roman Forum and way more! Unfortunately the Trevi Fountain is closed for refurbishment so I couldn't throw a coin in and make a wish. So gutted! I wanted to throw a coin in and meet Paolo and expose to Rome that he couldn't sing. Yes I wanted to be Lizzie McGuire! But that is ok!

Posing at the Spanish Steps. This area - Spanga, was probably my fave! So beautiful with loads of shops!

The amazing Colosseum!

We then found the cutest little swing park next to the Colosseum. Obviously had to have a shot!

The Vatican and Vatican Gardens! How stunning is The Vatican at sunset? This was such an amazing experience and I am so lucky to be able to say I have been there. Although having to have your knees and shoulders covered in 40 degree heat wasn't so fun!

The Roman Forum

Posing at the Pantheon!

Trevi Fountain all closed up!

The views from the very top of Castel St Angelo. You have to visit here if you go to Rome. Best views of the city, it was breathtaking!

We also went on a Segway tour all around Rome. This is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! Not everyone can say they have rode a Segway around Roma!

Just some random pics!

Obviously cannot forget the food! The first pic of the pizza and the pic of the carbonara make me so sad! Those to wear the best things I have ever tasted! Pizza and Pasta will never be the same again! The Gelato... Oh don't get me started on the Gelato!

Writing this post has made me so depressed to be home! Hopefully I will return in a few years though. If you have been considering heading to Rome, DO IT! I can't recommend it enough. It is so easy to get around (even if the Roman's are insane drivers) and is definitely not as expensive as everyone portrays it to be. L'Amore Roma.

Have you ever been or are you going anytime soon? Let us know!

Love,
