Beautiful Iris!

Hey guys, Gemma again!
One of my favourite MAC eyeshadow out of all the ones I own has to be Beautiful Iris. It is such a gorgeous lilac colour that compliments all skin tones.
So about a week ago when SMLx0 put up a purple and aqua look on her channel, I knew I wanted to recreate the look with my beautiful, Beautiful Iris! You can watch SMLx0's video here

This is what I came up with...

& this is how I done it...

1.I applied a primer all over my eye. You know how it works! From the lash line to my brow bone and for this look, also on my bottom lash line. I used Urban Decay's Primer Potion, just the regular kind. Primer will ensure your shadow lasts all day and will really make the colours pop. Which is exactly what you are looking for when creating a look like this.

2. Then I applied MAC's 'Wedge' shadow in my crease with a MAC 224 brush as a transition colour. Really attractive pic of me!

3. I then packed the gorgeous MAC 'Beautiful Iris' all over my lid. Just with any flat shader brush.

4. On the outer corner of my eye I applied MAC's 'Satin Taupe'. Just to add some definition to the look.

5. I then used Maybelline's gel liner above my lashes with a winged effect. I also used in it my waterline as I knew I was putting colour underneath on my bottom lash line. Without the liner in my waterline I feel like the look wo12uld be incomplete.

6. I then used this bright blue from my BH Cosmetics 120 Colour Palette in the 1st Edition. I then thought my whole look was looking very matte. Which isn't bad but I wanted just a little bit of simmer! So I then added the blue section of my MAC Mineralised shadow in 'Tropica' (which I am sure was part of a collection last year) over the BH blue shadow.

7. Then I applied Maybelline 'The Falsie Volume Express' mascara on my top lashes and then Too Faced's 'Lashgasm' on my bottom ones. In this pic (again really attractive) I don't have my mascara on yet. This look would also work well with fake lashes, however I was going to work so I decided not to go for them.

So this is my finished look after doing my brows and my face! I really really love this look and got loads of compliments about it. Let me know what you guys think about it!

Until next time!
